Austral Monsoon is contracted to provide louvres  in Townsville, Ingham, Proserpine, Port Douglas and Bowen,

Austral Monsoon is supplying both AME100 HV 2 stage louvres and AME 100 single stage louvres which have been designed and certified to comply with the cyclone ratings for these projects.

Group company Lietzke Doors has supplied and installed the medium and high security door, barrier and window requirements throughout the Centre. Lietzke worked closely with the Architects, the security consultants and the builder. The Lietzke bedroom door frame incorporates the access control, all the electrical controls including room lighting, the communication panel and audio visual television controls into the cast in door frame. This all in one concept has assisted with cost and time savings.

The new design makes installation simple and also makes maintenance and repair easier.  If a door is damaged, sections can be replaced, not requiring the entire door to be replaced.  The screen material is heavy duty, can be logoed, and is very resistant to wear.  The cross members are solid aluminum bar preventing the door to be blown in by heavier winds.  The tube motor (motor inside of the tube in which the door rolls up on to) reduces the clutter above the opening which is often seen with an exterior motor mounted either above, or to the side of, the opening.

Dwight Lohr, Dover Roller Shutters sales and operations, recently visited the test site near Denver, Colorado to inspect and measure door openings to ensure trouble free installation.  Install of the first two should take place around the end of May 2012.  Indications are that successful performance of the products at the test site will translate to a broad roll out of this product for the remainder of the test site and subsequently to other Fed Ex facilities throughout North America.

Bendigo CBD is progressing well with two bifolds installed and the balance to be completed shortly. Both stations will have bifolds installed and glazed by end of May.

The project is the biggest order to date for this product which was brought into the UK from the AM Group’s Australian production facility 18 months ago.

The fast-track project will be carried out during May/June and the order was won on the strengths of IDE’s numerous accreditations together with the ability to perform the works within a demanding timescale.

The project involved the supply and installation of standard roller shutters, fire rated  roller shutters and specialist security shutters and was completed on time to the customer’s satisfaction.

The project was carried out for Kiddie Building Contractors, who were a previous customer of Excel Shutters, a business purchased by the AM Group last year.  

The market is an important part of the state’s economic infrastructure, with an annual turnover in excess of $1.6 billion.

The core of the precinct will be the relocated Melbourne Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable Market and National Flower Centre currently located in Footscray Road in West Melbourne.

AM Group Company – Ansa Doors is proud to be a  major supplier to the new facility, supply and installing over (180) steel roller shutters throughout the facility.

Working with construction company Bovis Lend Lease, Ansa Doors has installed over (100) steel shutters to date with completion due at the end of June 2012.

Working with David Payne Constructions Austral Monsoon will supply and install  a number of electrically operated aluminium roller shutters to the school.

Works to commence late April.
